Paul Rorvig, University Liason,is an Associate Professor in the Department of History and Anthropology at the University of Central Missouri. He attended public schools in Boonville, Missouri, graduated from Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State University) in 1974 with a BS in Education (Social Studies), and taught and coached for twelve years in Lebanon and Carrollton, Missouri. In 1981 he earned a MA in History from the University of Missouri. In 1987, he entered the doctoral program at MU, completing a Ph.D. in History in 1993. From 1992-93, he taught US history at Central Methodist College in Fayette, MO. He came to the University of Central MO in the fall of 1999, where he teaches American history and social studies education courses and coordinates the secondary education program for social studies education majors.
Ted D. R. Green, Ph.D., Historian, is an associate professor and department chair in the Teacher Education Department, School of Education at Webster University. Green is the past president of MCSS and serves on the executive board of directors for the Missouri Council for History Education (MOCHE). Green was also appointed to the national NCSS Teacher Education and Professional Development Committee 2005-2008. He has presented on History and Social Studies issues at national and state conferences for the NCHE, NCSS, CUFA, ALHFAM and MCSS. Green teaches social studies, living history and social science courses to graduate and undergraduate students at Webster University. He teaches a field study methods course in Colonial Williamsburg each summer integrating technology into his course including web cams, digital imagery, and podcasts. Green has been writing curriculum for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for over 10 years, including the award winning Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trip series, the Teacher's Gazette and other curriculum projects.
