Erin Townsend, VP of Legislation
Nevada High School
Erin Townsend teaches American History at Nevada High School in Nevada, Missouri. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Middle School Education and a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She’s had some wonderful opportunities to travel and learn through Teach American History Grants, Gilder-Lehrman, National Endowment for the Humanities, and most recently with the Korean War Digital Legacy Foundation. When she’s not in her classroom, you will find her coaching middle school volleyball, or announcing numerous high school sporting events at NHS. She’s blessed with the best family in the world including her husband Bryan and son Keagan who indulge her love of all things history and travel whenever they can. She looks forward to being your legislative voice for the incredible members of MCSS!
