Dr. Travis L. Seay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Missouri State University. Having taught high school and middle school social studies in Florida and New York, he now teaches undergraduate methods and graduate courses on the social studies curriculum. He researches and writes about intersections of race, gender, and historical narration in the context of American schooling.
