After spending 14 years teaching social studies in Missouri, I transitioned to DESE to support quality social studies and personal finance instruction statewide. My goal is to connect social studies teachers from across the state, and be a strong voice in Jefferson City. Outside of work I spend time with my wife Lakin, and daughter Lenora where we love to spend time reading, antiquing, going to concerts, and traveling
