My name is Matthew Van Horn, and I have been in education since 2004. I have taught Elementary and Middle School Art, Middle and High School Social Studies, Middle School gifted education, and hold a Doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Maryville University. I am a practicing artist (painting and chair caning/furniture repair) and a High School Track and Cross-Country coach for over the past 20 years. I enjoy running, travelling, and spending time with my 2 kids and wife, Kristen, who is a former teacher who currently runs a business as a time strategist and systems expert for female entrepreneurs.
